In 1958 brothers Rafael and Rodrigo Andrés opened the doors of Rafa Seafood Restaurant in Madrid. A small winery in which “rations” to accompany the wines were served, and it was the beginnings of this house, which over the years was expanded, growing to become the first-class restaurant it is today, and that currently run their sons, Rafael y Miguel Ángel
In over fifty years of history this house has been characterized by the quality of its products and a cuisine that, faithful to the traditional dishes, has been introducing new products that demonstrate we are up to date in the cuisine’ s world.
All stews, meat, fish and seafood are prepared from traditional recipes that come to the table served by an excellent team of professionals.

A classic of Madrid, with a great product, good wine, best service, nice decor, reasonable price. A good place to eat well and be pleasantly.
One of the best restaurants in Madrid in which the treatment, quality and atmosphere are spectacular. I particularly recommend the seafood and steak tartare. I have not tasted one like that, (and it is very fashionable now). It is one of my favorite restaurants, ideal to celebrate family or business lunches.
The hake cheeks are extraordinary, the Riojana Cod is wonderful and the octopus with mashed potatoes without words.
Not much to comment on; come to Rafa is always an intelligent decision. The best fish I’ve eaten, there’s always good seafood and the treatment is unbeatable.
The “Ensaladilla” is spectacular. The spattering seafood tasteful, the best fish and seafood you can eat in Madrid, exquisite treatment and service. We have a family tradition to go every Sunday for more than 30 years ago and Rafa has never failed.
